Starting January 2024, we've entered in a transformative agreement*1 with Wiley, providing support for article processing charges (APC *2) when our university members publish articles in academic journals via Open Access (OA *3). This agreement makes it possible to publish articles through Open Access at a more affordable cost than usual.

*1 Transformative Agreement:
In the "transformative agreement", the university covers both the journal subscription prices and APCs in order to promote the OA publishing of research results.

*2 APC (Article Processing Charges):
Authors often need to pay Article Processing Charges (APC) to make their papers open access, along with other associated costs.

*3 Open Access:
Typically, accessing published papers requires a subscription. However, with open access publication, authors bear the cost of APC (Article Processing Charges), making their papers openly accessible without the need for a subscription.
