As of July 21, 2026, the following issues have been identified in some of the Gale services provided by Cengage Learning.

The provider is currently working on resolving the issues. The expected time for full restoration is on or after August 1, 2026.

Details of the Issue:
PDF files of articles published in the databases listed below cannot be viewed via the "Original Document (PDF)" tab on the article display screen, nor can they be downloaded using the download button.

Gale OneFile databases (including Gale Academic OneFile, Gale General OneFile, etc.)
Gale Power Search (a cross-database search tool covering Gale OneFile, Gale Literature, Gale in Context, Gale eBooks, etc.)

Supplementary Information:
・Articles can still be viewed in HTML format.
・PDF files can be obtained by using the print button on the article display screen and selecting PDF as the output format.
・If you access articles directly via Gale Academic OneFile, or Gale General OneFile without using Gale Power Search, you can download PDF files using the download button. However, viewing PDF files via the "Original Document (PDF)" tab is not available.
